Hollie Drive Medical Centre is situated in Morwell, one of the largest towns in the Latrobe Valley. The clinic is located on the eastern side of Morwell adjacent to the Mid Valley Shopping Centre. Melbourne is easily accessible by freeway approximately one and a half hours drive. The Morwell area has a population of approximately 22,000 and is serviced by nearby Latrobe Regional Hospital and Maryvale Private Hospital. The Morwell area supports a diverse population, involved in farming, industrial, retail and educational industries.
Situated between the
mountains and the ocean, Morwell has a diverse range of lifestyle
opportunities. There are many excellent educational institutions in close proximity, including private and Catholic schools. Nearby Churchill is the home of Monash University Gippsland, where a new medical school has been established. |

The clinic is fully accredited to RACGP standards. The facilities are fully computerized using medical director, allowing doctors to download pathology, cytology and radiology results. Due to Morwell’s diversity our doctors enjoy a wide patient base with an opportunity to treat a variety of conditions. |
Hours / After Hours |

The clinic operates between 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday - Friday and 8.30am to 1.30pm Saturday and maintains a 24 hour, seven day per week on-call service. The registrar would not be required to undertake weekend or after hours responsibilities. |

Hollie Drive Medical Centre offers excellent conditions meeting Southern GP Training guidelines. Registrars in their subsequent terms will be expected to provide their own accommodation. Registrar Teaching Commitment Hollie Drive doctors will be participating in teaching medical students from the Monash Medical Centre at junior and senior levels and Registrars will be expected to participate in the teaching programmes. |
