The clinic is supported by experienced receptionists and Div 1 nurses and onsite pathology, plus an extended support network of clinical administrative staff.

The practice has a physio consulting 2 sessions per week and a psychologist 1 session per week.

Geography & Lifestyle

1.5hrs drive east from Melbourne, on the way to Philip Island.  Small town Community  but still close to Melbourne! Minimal after hours commitment, leaving lots of time for exploring local coastline, local sporting clubs, fishing & golf.

Building

State of the art purpose built medical clinic, built by the local community.  Large consulting rooms, bright and airy, large treatment room and staff room.

Clinical

Broad range of medical experiences including emergencies; procedures; family medicine and chronic disease management.  Registrars able to assess/admit patients to local Hospital/Aged Care facility in Koo Wee Rup.  Practice Nurses with interests in chronic disease management (who assists with GP Management Plans) and in mental health (who assists with GP Mental Health Plans).  Nurse led patient assessment for any urgent presentations.

Hours / After Hours

Consulting hours 9-5pm Monday to Friday with a non patient period of 1-2pm.  Minimal after hours commitment.
