Clinical |
|
The clinics are linked with dedicated ADSL line so the patient database is shared. We are fully computerised, using the integrated clinical and billing/appointments package from Intrahealth called Profile. We have expanded our clinic by focusing on quality care. We maintain a high standard of patient record keeping, have a focus on quality improvement activities and expect all doctors in the practice to attend and participate in our weekly clinical meetings. We maintain a friendly and flexible workplace for all our staff. The on call roster is relatively easy. We have 10 FTE doctors so the roaster is shared 1 in 6. The Warragul area is well catered for medically and in allied health. The West Gippsland Hospital has physicians, surgeons, pediatricians and range of visiting specialists available. Our doctors all have admitting rights to the hospital and regularly admit patients under their bed card. The emergency dept is staffed by a senior supervising GP and rotating junior doctors and locums 24 hours a day. There are public and private allied health practitioners in the area. |
