The practice is fully accredited to RACGP standards. Our practice is fully computerised using Medical Director allowing doctors to automatically download pathology, cytology and x-ray results. The doctors are supported by nursing and administration staff. The practice has a very large patient base from the very young to the elderly. The doctors are also involved in company vaccination programes and participate in Chronic Disease Management and Incentive Programmes. The practice is equipped to undertake analytical ECGs, computerised spirometry, a range of minor surgical procedures, industrial medicals and any other unexpected emergencies such as lacerations and fractures. We also have on site pathology, and x-ray facilities are available within eight kilometres. We
have a visiting Mental Health Nurse one day per week, and there is a wide range of ancillary
supports in close proximity. Strong links are maintained with the
District Nursing Service and the Latrobe Valley Palliative Care Service. |
Hours / After Hours |
|
The practice is open from 8 a.m. Monday to Saturday and from 9 a.m. Sunday. Evening clinics are held on Tuesdays and Fridays. There is currently no requirement for
weekend or after hours on-call commitment from the registrars. The
practice does however maintain a 24-hour, seven-day per week on-call
service. |
