IRISH EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Are you interested in undertaking a three-month placement in Ireland as part of your GP training? Then you have come to the right place! This exciting opportunity is available exclusively through getGP to rural registrars in their subsequent year of training.

getGP together with Donegal Training Programme in General Practice Education have developed the exchange between Ireland and Australia. The placement is recognised by the RACGP and will be credited toward your subsequent term.

At the end of the attachment, the opportunity to extend your stay and work in other parts of the country or simply holiday may be available. It is an ideal way of gaining an insight into the medical profession outside your own country.

getGP will cover the cost of your flight and your medical registration in Ireland. Free accommodation and the use of a vehicle are also available.
