GPRime Outline

GPRime is a major step forward in web based education and information management for general practice vocational training in Australia.

It provides a highly efficient tool for managing learning plans, group communication and educational data management.
GPRime has been designed by medical educators in Gippsland who are involved in the day to day processes of education delivery in a regional General Practice training program. It is highly intuitive and has a wide range of invaluable tools imbedded into the program.

• GPRime streamlines the monitoring of registrar progress through training and the reporting of progress from the generation of a report through to reporting to GPET.

GPRime has been created by the Gippsland training program to meet a wide range of educational and administrative needs.
We in the Gippsland training program needed an efficient way of communicating and reliably transmitting documents within its various educational and operational groups.
We needed a learning planner tool that was not cluttered and was accessible anytime anywhere. We needed an efficient way of tracking registrar progress through training and reporting this to GPET. We needed a way of storing reports and feedback on registrars and training posts that could be readily accessed by both registrars and trainers. We needed a way of pooling educational resources for use by anyone in the organisation.

• A Web based system that is available online anywhere and at anytime by authorised uses seemed the means to achieving all this.

Gippsland education and Training for General Practice teamed with JAM MEDIA to produce after many months of intensive development a platform that truly meets all these needs - GPRime.

Gippsland Education and Training and JAM MEDIA now make this is extremely versatile and powerful tool available for the use of other training providers.
