How to apply for Advanced Rural Skills Training
Advanced Rural Skills Training is available to GP registrars and vocationally registered GPs. These posts are designed to provide training in advanced skills for practicing in a rural and remote area and are usually of one year’s duration. They include Anaesthetics, Caesarean competent GP obstetrics, Surgery and Procedural Paediatrics.
Many of these posts are funded as supernumerary by the State Government so that their primary purpose is training.
