Competency checklists for hospital registrars that have been distilled from the curriculum statements of the colleges are now available for the following themes:
Acute and serious illness
Radiology
Patient safety
Rehabilitation medicine
Pain management
Anaesthetics
These checklists carry suggestions for peer group discussion topics. We would now like to add ideas for independent learning activities, so please send me your suggestions.
The following competency checklists for in-practice registrars were rolled out last year. These carry supervisor suggestions for in-practice and independent learning activities, however we would welcome more.
